Feenix Community

Life in the Community

Hub Feenix functions more like a village or campus - a large, shared space with many rhythms moving at once. And community here is spacious by design. It allows for both connection and independence, shared moments and quiet focus. Some days are social, others are solitary, and both are equally part of life here.

This is a place where you can be fully yourself, while living alongside others doing the same.

What Community Means

Community at Feenix is not forced – it’s spacious, evolving, and respects your personal autonomy. It might look like a shared coffee, learning a new perspective, and it might also look like working quietly alongside others without needing to engage. It forms naturally through proximity and shared experience rather than expectation.

Daily Rhythm

Long-term residents live alongside artists-in-residence, digital nomads, volunteers and staff. Some people are focused on the work or art, while others move quietly through their day. Wednesdays, the community gathers for the weekly sauna (sometimes by the lake!) and monthly, our artists-in-residence present share their current work. What connects it is a shared understanding that everyone is here for their own reason, and how this space feels and functions, depends on how we each show up within it.

Onsite Amenities

The village offers a range of shared amenities designed to support both focus and downtime. A dedicated movie room creates space for film nights. The music room invites spontaneous jam sessions. There’s an onsite gym with basic equipment and an indoor climbing wall for movement. A hair and healing salon for eco-friendy hair cuts and services like acupuncture and massages. And access to a shared manual car for local trips and adventures. These spaces aren’t just facilities - they’re extensions of the creative environment.

Nature & Wellbeing

Hub Feenix offers space to reset as well as create. Many nomads build walks into their daily routine, using time outdoors between meetings or to think through ideas. In winter, the landscape shifts with the nearby lake freezing for skating, and cross-country ski trails openup through the surrounding forest. Wellbeing is embedded in the setting.

Sustainability as a Shared Practice

The campus reflects a commitment to sustainability and residents are encouraged to approach their daily life with awareness. Solar panels contribute to the energy that powers daily life. The community clothing closet encourages thoughtful consumption. And small acts, such as recycling, conserving energy, maintaining shared areas and plant-based meals help sustain the campus for everyone who passes through it.

Does this way of living resonate?

If you’re drawn to a share environment that values both independence and connection, you may feel at home here. Reach out and start a conversation, we’re always open to hearing from people who feel aligned.
